Sarah Braunstein’s newest book, Baby in a Box: Stories, comes out June 2026. Her novels are Bad Animals and The Sweet Relief of Missing Children. Her work has appeared in The Best American Short Stories, The New Yorker, The Harvard Review, Playboy, and elsewhere. She teaches at Colby College in Waterville, Maine.
